Featured Project: Built Right. Opened Strong.
Williston Pizza Ranch & FunZone

Pizza Ranch & FunZone Arcade opened February 16, 2026 in Williston, North Dakota.

MCC was brought in after the ownership group struggled to find a local contractor that could meet their budget. Our team delivered a solution that brought the project back within reach and allowed it to move forward.

This job also came with distance, over 14 hours from our office, but that didn’t change our approach. We showed up, stayed with it, and worked through the challenges alongside the developers, the Pizza Ranch Construction Team, and our trade partners.

It wasn’t an easy project, but it’s one we’re proud of.

Congratulations to the Williston Pizza Ranch ownership group on their new restaurant.

MCC Books & Blueprints:

How to Win Friends and Influence People

Our first book club session brought the team together for an engaging and interactive discussion, marking the start of a new initiative to connect, learn, and grow as a group. Moving forward, we’ll be reading a new book every other month and coming together to share insights and perspectives.

The session was structured to encourage participation from everyone, creating space for thoughtful conversation and meaningful dialogue around the book. To bring the concepts to life, we incorporated an interactive listening exercise. In this activity, one participant described an image while their partner attempted to draw it without being told what the object was.

The results were both entertaining and insightful, highlighting how easily messages can be interpreted differently depending on how they are communicated and received. The exercise sparked great conversation and reinforced the importance of clear communication, active listening, and patience. Overall, it was a fun and impactful way to kick off our first book club.

President’s Message

With winter in the rear-view mirror and opening day of baseball upon us, I think we’re all ready for some warmer weather. The crews in the field are more than ready to put the heavy coats and coveralls away.

When you think about everything it takes to bring a project from an idea to a ribbon cutting, it’s easy to overlook the people doing the physical work on site every day. But the reality is simple: we don’t build anything without them.

The projects that go well all have one thing in common: strong trade partners. There’s a direct connection between successful projects and the people doing the work. Like a chain, when one link is weak, the whole job struggles. When every link is strong, the project moves the way it should.

We’ve been fortunate to work with partners who take ownership, solve problems, and take pride in the job as a whole.

To our trade partners and suppliers, thank you. What you do matters, and it does not go unnoticed.

At MCC, we’re committed to continuing to build those relationships, because that’s what builds great projects.

Safety Corner:

Annual Safety Meeting

We recently welcomed our safety partner, Lancaster Safety, for a full day dedicated to strengthening our safety knowledge and practices. Team members gathered at the office to engage in discussions on a variety of important safety topics, while also enjoying time together over breakfast and lunch. Opportunities like this not only reinforce best practices but also strengthen our shared commitment to keeping everyone safe—on every job, every day.
